Rangeley is one of Maine’s most attractive and popular lake
resorts. Russell's Lakeside Rentals offers year round cottages
and homes nestled among birch and spruce trees on lakeside and
mountainside properties. All rentals are fully equipped for
light housekeeping. Lodging available weekends, weekly, or

SUMMER
Come to Rangeley Maine for summertime fun with activities for everyone
- public tennis and basketball courts, horseback riding, hiking,
picnic areas, some properties have a fire pit for evening
gatherings under the stars. Boating and swimming are favorites,
along with just sightseeing. Wildlife is abundant with moose,
deer, and bear as well as birds, ducks, and loons.
FISHING
 The Rangeley Lakes Region is well known for its fine fishing.
Fishermen enjoy fighting land locked salmon and squaretail trout
of our lakes and of the many fine streams and rivers throughout
the area. These fish are taken by fly and trolling and give the
fishing enthusiast the thrill of a lifetime. A short run from
many docks will take you to the best fishing spots on Rangeley
Lake, Mooselookmeguntic Lake, and other smaller lakes and ponds.
Some bodies of water are restricted to fly fishing only, to a
limit on the size of motors, as well as no motors allowed.
WINTER
 Come to winter wonderland for fun with hundreds of miles of
groomed snowmobile trails throughout Maine, to Canada and New
Hampshire. All rentals are right on the trail…drive to your
rental, park, and never drive again the whole time here…
snowmobile everywhere, including out to dinner. Join hundreds of
fellow riders in a torchlight parade on Rangeley Lake at the
Snodeo, 3 day event in January. Also, winter activities can
include ice fishing on Haley Pond, ice skating, sledding,
cross-country skiing on miles of groomed trails, and skiing at
Saddleback and Sugarloaf Ski Resorts. There’s always snow in the
Rangeley Lakes Region.
